Description:
This single barrel añejo tequila was selected exclusively for PPLD x Flagstaff Liquor and reflects Paladar’s commitment to traditional tequila production and precise barrel aging. Produced from 100% Blue Weber agave, the cooked agave is fermented using a proprietary and wild yeast blend in pine fermentation vats, a material choice that contributes subtle structure and complexity to the final spirit. Distillation is overseen by Master Distiller Eduardo and carried out using a hybrid alambique system combining copper and stainless steel, balancing purity with textural depth. The tequila is matured in American oak ex-bourbon barrels, where extended aging integrates oak-derived sweetness and spice while maintaining a strong agave core. Bottled at 46% ABV, this single barrel release preserves intensity and mouthfeel unique to Barrel No. A22-2-032.

Tasting Notes:
