Description:

This exclusive Rare Character single barrel bourbon selection brings together Park Plaza Liquor & Deli and Flagstaff Liquor. Aged 12 years and 9 months and bottled at 104.22 proof, barrel I21-2123 showcases nearly 13 years of maturation in a distinctive private barrel release.

The I21 designation identifies Indiana-distilled bourbon made from a mash bill of 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley. Rare Character describes this series as matured in Indiana with additional aging in Kentucky, pairing a classic bourbon recipe with a profile of sweet fruit, caramel, vanilla, and gentle rye spice.

The I21 series is known for its slightly candied fruit character and creamy sweetness, accented by charred-fruit nuances and a lightly spiced finish. This selection offers an opportunity to experience that pedigree with extended maturation and the individuality of a single barrel.

Tasting Notes:

• Sweetness: Caramel and vanilla with creamy, slightly candied notes.

• Fruit: Fresh and dried fruit with a charred-sweet edge.

• Spice & Finish: Gentle spice throughout, with light rye spice on the finish.
