It begins as a blend of 2 and 3-year-old bourbons distilled and initially matured in Ohio using a mash bill of 60% yellow corn, 35% pumpernickel rye, and 5% heritage malt. The whiskey is then finished on freshly harvested Whiskey Del Bac mesquited barrel staves before undergoing the distillery's proprietary Pima County Process™, which filters the bourbon through mesquite charcoal produced during their mesquited malting process. This distinctive finishing technique adds subtle Southwestern character while preserving the bourbon's classic profile.
